Lightening your hair will definitely make your eyebrows stand out. I'd suggest having them professionally lightened. Most Estheticians will color eyebrows for a reasonable cost (less than $20) and it lasts a long time. The effect will vary, depending on what formula the Esthetician uses, but generally, brows are lightened a shade or two and given a warmer tone.
This is also a great option if you have light eyebrows and use a dark hair color. Or if your brows are an ashy tone and you've colored your hair a warm brown or red.
Do not attempt to lighten your eyebrows yourself. A special chemical formula, specifically for eyebrows, is needed. And any chemical applied that close to your eyes is NOT something to mess around with.
