Why?!

Your hair is lovely. Don't color it! I would give almost anything to have hair like yours. Instead, why don't you get a cut to flatter your face shape and maybe let it grow out a bit? Much nicer!

Some options...

Hi Amanda,

While I agree with the previous poster that you have a beautiful natural blonde, I also understand the appeal of vamping things up a bit with some color! My suggestion would be not to do anything too dramatic. The more color you put in, the more maintenance you'll have to keep it up and going darker can be quite a shock to the system when you're used to seeing yourself in light hair.

A medium dark brown would look nice peeking through from underneath with a few visible on top. I'd also add a few lighter blonde pieces to create some contrast and make the lowlights more noticeable (just a few though).

If you do decide to go quite a bit darker, you may want to consider having an esthetician tint your eyebrows as they look fairly light in the photo. This service doesn't cost much (less than $20 usually) but really finishes off the look.

All the best,
Michelle
