deposit only color will not damage your hair much, and it will not make your darker areas lighter.

just some toning
by: Michelle

Yes, a semi-permanent (no ammonia) color in a light warmish (slightly golden) shade will tone out the grey. If it's minimal, even a colored shampoo and/or conditioner in a warm shade may be enough.

So sorry to hear that

It happened to me only my hair turned green as grass--didn't know I could run that fast with a baseball cap on out the door, unfortunatly my kids and husband caught me and yanked off the cap-- I had to go to a real expensive stylist to get it done right and it was never quite the same until it grew out. Hang in there and the best of luck.

Ash ....Grey repair
by: Rita @ CoolCuts

please go back to the stylist that this happened to.In her defense, I will say that, as a 30 year 3 State licensed veteran this has recently happened to me as well.Does it mean I don't know "color"?no.Does it mean that I wasn't "paying attention"?No. Does it mean that different product lines react differently on different hair?you betcha! For example;last year our company did a store wide "product line change" to Matrix.I am technically trained with Redkin 5th Ave.I have used & been triained with every single product line of color & de colorizer that Renkin offers or has offered.I almost lost my job because I refused to cross-train with the matrix & continue to be exclusivly Redkin.so with that havign been said, I used a matrix product on one of my "FAITHFUL" Redkin clients disclosing fully that I was "not sure what we'd get" what we got was 8 hurs of heartache & she had to return for my redkin knowlegde to "fix" her grey hair as well!So..Give the stylist the opportunity to "fix" your hair. she'll get some sleep & you'll be happy & she'll learn from this. NOW: for the "repair" depending on all the variables she should:#1 call the product lines stylists hotline.#2 not panic that she looks like or feels like a idiot in front of you. #3 Relax & trust the hotline helper stylist.orange needs to be deposited(Shades EQ Papaya 09AA)the you need to get 1oz of 07G saffron + 1 oz of 09G Vanilla Creme with 2 oz processing solution.no need to dry your hair inbetween processes make sure to leave the products on 20 mintues. At first the color will be sark but as you shampoo, swim, or take hot,hot showers it will fade! then when you return in about 6 weeks she will do a glaze of the 09G + 07G on zones 2 & 3 with 8NG.DO NOT try this at home. That is why professionals have schooling & a license.Chemestry is a major componet of our classroom knowledge.

I am a hairdresser of over 30 years and new products come out all the time. There is a new color remover product by Rusk call Elimi8 and also a Swartzkopf product color remover they will not harm your hair and you can take out permanent and semi permanent color. Find a salon near you who works with either line. Good luck\\\\
