Big Problem !! :)

I have very thick hair and believe I also have a double crown, cows lick and a nape whirl if they exist. I can never make it look presentable it sticks out at the back most of the time though occasionally it is flat but I think that is the pressure from sleeping on it !
I've been made aware that I have to wait for it to grow out enough an drop flat itself. Is there any other ways ? Thank You.
