Bleached and recoloring

I, like a dummy, died my med. blonde hair to a darker brown which turned black. I was mortified with the results and I bleached my hair to a nearly yellow-white-dull orange. Several hours later I dyed it with a permanent med. blonde color by Feria. The color didn't take at all and I still have my bleached blonde look which isn't appealing at all. I know now after reading articles about the same dilemma that my hair is probably very porous. I have been using extensive deep conditions that contain keratin proteins with every wash, so my hair isnt actually into too bad of shape. So when can I recolor my hair with a permanent dye to a more natural blonde and actually have the hair absorb the color??

with bleaching hair it pretty much kills it. ive bleached my hair before and i had to dye it dark brown for it to come back healthy, by dying your hair over and over again is not healthy at all it will break and just literally die. but the thing is if you do want to dye it a natural blonde you would proberly have to ask your hairdresser because they would have the color and equipment to be able to do it the right way. also because you bleached it you have taken the red pigments outta your hair so dying it to a blonde may not actually soak it up that well.

just did the same thing...but

I used Nice n' Easy with great results the second time around as I used med ash to tone down the yellow and only had to leave on 10 mins to get the effect I wanted. Make sure to do test strands...ALWAYS

light ash blonde works :P

i have done the same thing with my pale blonde hair, dyed it brown thinking it wld look good and then ending up with jet black hair and pale, pale skin. I looked like a corps, so i bleeched it and it went bright orange on the ends and bright yellow on the roots (not sexy). I only waited about a week and a half before dying my hair using garnier nutrisse cream in light ash blonde, it turned out a light ash blonde as said with a few warmer red tones through it. Just make sure u use light ash and not ash as the ash blonde can make ure hair appear gray also not good if ur under the age of 55. It looks okay but was very very dry even after several conditiong treatments.

i suggest u wait at least two weeks before trying to dye ur hair just to make sure that it dosn't reverse all ur hard work by conditioning ur hair loads,

good luck
