Bleached hair? Can I go brown with a store dye

3 weeks ago I went into a salon and asked for a very light blond with some red lowlights. Somehow she turned the whole upper portion of my head purple. So after returning to the same salon the next day unhappy still with the results they did a malabu treatment on my head. Now my hair is to blond. I cant stand it. I dont have the money to go in yet again so I was wondering if i could buy a store die, (brown) if it would work and not leave my hair looking worse.

if you still do not have what you asked for and they know it, ask them to make it dark for you. if you attempt to do this yourself you will have a fried mess and you will not achieve the color you want. you have to put the primary pigments back into your hair with very low level of developer to keep from frying your hair more than it already is.just ask them. they shouldnt charge you for doing that since they did not give you what you wanted.
