blonde hair going grey at temples.

by Dianna Johnson
(Lansing, Michigan)

I have always had blonde hair, and blue eyes. However I think it's too light when I color it to cover the grey. My daughters and husband say to use a extra light blonde because any other color makes my hair too red. Kids keep asking my 14-16 yr. daughters who is the lady with the white hair your grandma? I'm 47 years old. How do I look younger and more natural without having whitish color hair? when trying to cover grey.

Warmth Needed
by: Donna in Ct.

Usually it's neccessary to replace warmth that white hair's missing. The missing tone is gold, so a color such as a "light golden blonde" might work best on you to keep you from looking too "whitish" and washed-out.

No golden tones

Do not use anything with golden in it. Use just med. blonde. It will cover your roots. I use this because the same thing happed to me.
