BRASSY BLONDE

the other evening i decided to add a few more highlights to my already highlighted hair i love being blonde,the condition is fine the problem is its turned out quite brassy. is there anything i can put on it to tone it down please.if so could you recomened a product and colour i should use i do want to stay blonde but natural not brassy. many thanks

It would be helpful to have a picture of the current state of your hair to give you the best advice possible. I'm assuming that your old highlights had grown out a bit and you were highlighting the re-growth.

What I picture after reading your description is that you have brassy highlights in the regrowth area. I'm unclear on whether you pulled the new highlights through the whole strand or not.

In any case, the brassy tones are a very common result with home blonding (and salon blonding for that matter).

To deal with the brassy tones, you'll need to either color them darker or re-highlight. Both will be challenging because you'll have to selectively color just the brassy pieces. If you used foils to highlight, it'll be easier than if you used a cap.

ya my hair turn out blonde on bottom and then brassy then brown ....i was shocked now im goin to get it fixed i was so imbarred
