Brown hair blonde hightlights grey roots

My Hair is dark brown and is highlighted almost completely blonde but my roots are coming in very grey should I just color my roots brown or should I color them blonde PLEASE HELPP!

if you hilite your hair to be blonde, WHY WOULD YOU COLOR YOUR ROOTS BROWN?!! that doesnt even make sense. brown is what you are trying to get rid of isnt it? if you have SO MUCH grey, as you say, why not use a semipermanent blonde on your roots. that will make your grey hair blonde and leave what little brown hair you have, brown. you will no longer have to hilite. very simple. you could even do this yourself.

What color blonde would you recommend with out getting a goldy brassy color. I also have light brown hair with blonde highlights mu base root is 70% grey most colors look eithr too goldy or too ashy. i would like a nice sandy blonde to go with my highlights. Any suggestions
