here's the deal. my friend is a licensed hair stylist. i've let her cut my thick, long-ish hair for a year. just recently, i allowed her to color it. i had been getting it colored by someone else for 15 years, but she moved to a different state.
before coloring my hair, we agreed that my base color was too "orangey" and that i had too much blond. she darkened my hair to a level 7 and added lowlights and a few highlights in the halo area only. here's the problem: my hair is soooo much flatter now - it doesn't get the volume it used to. is this because of the lack of blond that i now have? i was thinking it was because the blond is actually bleach, which is more porous, right? anyway, it also gets oily faster, too - which is odd - cuz i have dry hair....ugh.
or maybe she just gave me a bad haircut....i can't tell! any suggestions?
thanks
