Chunky blonde highlights

by Miserable highlights
(ny)

Had a professional do blonde foils that came out way too blonde, white & brassy with lines. I need to fix this immediately and refuse to let her come near me! Please help me return to my natural light brown hair.

just need toner
by: Michelle

You can get a semi-permenant (or demi) color in a dark blonde and it will tone the too-light highlights and the brassy bits to a more even tone and you will have a nice highlighted look. If you want it all darker, get a brown shade instead. Just make sure it's a 'no-ammonia' 'semi OR demi permanent' color. These are deposit-only formulas which don't have any lifting action that would mess with the sections that are your natural color.

Hope this helps,
