You can get coconut milk at most grocery stores. Go for the purest, organic variety you can find. Coconut oil may also be at your grocer's if they have a natural/organic section. Otherwise, check at a health food store. The ideal product is a 'virgin, unrefined, cold pressed, organic' coconut oil in a dark container.

As a child I had beautiful and shiny strawberry blond hair, reading this article made me remember that my mother used to put coconut oil on my hair once a month :-)
I'll start using it again.
