coloured dark hair how to lighten

i have been colouring my hair its now really dark brown with red tones.how do i lighten my hair so i can colour it light brown.

My personal suggestion

If your hair is already colored dark it will take a few times to get it lighter. What I would suggest doing is doing a bunch of foils in your hair instead of bleaching it all over because it can become very damaging, also highlighting grows out very natural. Once you have lightened it to about an orangey/yellow stage, tone it with the color you want, but make sure that it has a cool base to it like blue and use at least a level 5 or 6. Blue cancels out orange.
