100% gray hair

This might not be as simple as it first presents....maybe because I am a professional, that is where I would direct you. Sometimes gray hair is more resistant and needs pre softened. I am sure you have lovely hair so I would visit a color specialist for at least the first couple of colorings. You will get a better feel for how resistant or not, your hair is and then have confidence before you venture out on your own.
PS; Unless you are prematurely gray..........any medication you are on needs to be taken into consideration.

100% GRAY

I agree with the last post. Plus there's something you need to conceder about the shade, which your colorist will be able to decide if you need to go lighter or darker because of your hair type or your skin coloring.

Just remember any shade you get will be a shock to see at first to your 100% gray hair. Give the color a week or two, to get use to having color. Just remember you can't color your hair back to the shade you have, so go to a colorist.

Possible brassy tones

I colored my hair blonde (at home) successfully for years, but when I started to turn grey, the color took on a brassy hue. I have heard other people, even going to a professional, having the same problem. So be sure to start with a professional as the others have suggested! Good luck!

I posted about you visiting a "color specialist" but forgot to add that not all cosmos are color specialists. We all do color but a specialist will have advanced education in color. Be sure to take a list of all medications, prescription/over the counter plus all vitamin and miner supplements......zinc and iron can play some special tricks at times. You want your money's worth so be sure to arm your colorist with all your information. Sorry that I didn't go into detail the first time. Good luck and I hope you will post to let us know how things turned out!
