Damage from perm and too many styling products?
by Erica
(Virginia)
I permed my hair a month ago because I was told it would thicken my very thin, long hair. I followed directions and waited 48 hours to wash my hair. I went through alot of different shampoos trying to find one that moisturized and kept the curl. Now I use Nexxus diametress volumnizing shampoo and Keraphix Restorative Strengthening conditioner. I also use volumnizing heat-protection mousse and curl-creating gel elixir. I used strengthening polymeric reconstructor. My hair is long, thin/fine, dry, damaged, lots of split ends (I cut off the split ends myself but I keep getting more). What can I do to restore it, make it thicker/fuller, and prevent any more damage?
