lowlights
by: Michelle

Ask your stylist to foil in some lowlights (same process as highlighting but using a dark color) the next time s/he highlights your hair. It's very common for hair to become over-highlighted after having it done several times, especially if your stylist is applying the lightener through to the ends each time or not picking out the previously highlighted pieces and applying the color to ONLY the regrowth. So the simplest solution is to add a bit of dark color back in tiny sections to mimic your natural color throughout, re-creating a highlighted look as opposed to all-over blonde color.

Hope this helps,
