dying over highlights
A couple months ago I got my hair died an auburn color (my natural color is dark brown), and I also got caramel highlights. I've had the same color/highlights retouched once already. Now I want to dye my hair a solid color in hope of it going back close to my natural eventually. Is it safe for me to dye it myself? I still haven't decided on a color, but I know to avoid dark blackish brown because I don't want my highlights to come out grey.
