foiling with bleach

my customer wants a touch up on a chunck of hair that has been bleached. Her natural color is a level 4-5 and it needs to be lbeached to get the color she wants, blonde. My question is after I bleach and wash that out do I pick the bleached hair out among all the dark to add blonde color. I'd like to use tint I don't use toners because the color doesn't hold. But if I use tint and 10 or 20 vol. it will change her natural color. I don't know what to do

semi-permanent

After you have lightened the hair enough to remove the underlying orange/yellow pigments, use a semi-permanent color formula for the toning. But be careful, many 'semi' permanents have a peroxide developer that is too high and will lift the natural color, giving it a brassy tone.

Here are the products I recommend for toning after lightening with bleach, which are available from SallyBeauty.com.

A favorite of mine for use in the salon is Logics Imprints (a mixture of 8V and 10N - OR - 8N and 10V, depending on the tone I want to achieve).

Hope this helps,
