Ginger hair crisis

I have naturally ginger hair but have been dying it brown for a good 4 years now. I have noticed my roots are coming back alot blonder then usual and its really noticable alot sooner than it used to be. i dont want to have to dye my hair so often because of my regrowth. What colour would be best to make my regrowth less noticable but would also match my fair skin tone? Would a natural blonde colour suit me? My hairdresser always says i either have to go really dark or really blonde because of the warmth in my hair colour and im nt sure if i wnna make tht jump.

As time marches by, our hair colour does change,and, your Hairdresser is correct. Although, going lighter would be better in not noticing the regrowth as much.
