going all blonde after highlights?

by Kel

I recently used Revlon Frost and Glow kit and put highlights all through my hair. Some are very , very blonde, almost over processed. Now I would like to go all over blonde, but i don't know how to go about it with these super light hair all through my hair! Wouldn't they melt if I put bleach all over my hair? I couldn't imagine sorting out the blonde ones and going around them. Seems impossible. My hair is waist length and it was really hard to pull it throught he cap the first time. Any advice on what i can do. Right now I have old med brown dye on most of my hair, brassy gold streaks, and platinum. Ugh!

blonde after highlights

i would always go to the hairdressers to have my colour put in, especially when going lighter. i would recommend foils and have big chunks of blonde put in rather than a cap method. A lot of salons no longer use these as they claim foils give a more natural result. I Think you should achieve your blonde look gradually rather than go blonde all in one go- foils can achieve this. with foils you can have subtle weaves or large chunks put in, or more! going blonde slowly will give youa chance to get the condition back in your hair while you do it also. For chemically processed hair i would recommend Kerastase conditioning treatment, comes in a pack of 6, x2 applications each time, but they last through a few washes. My hairdresser uses it on my hair as i am also going gradually blonde. Makes my hair feel thicker, softer and stronger. hope this helps if you give it a go.
