Green hair!!!

I went into the hairdressers as a medium honey blonde. I asked for Ash blonde. They did this but looked unsuitable! They suggested 'a light brown'! This came out dark brown around my face, but a bright 'pea green' elsewhere!! Help! Is there anything you can suggest?

Hi Marion,

This is a good Challenge for me.

I can't say for sure but, sometimes different colour lines react with each other. The only colour that reacted like that, was Loreal Presentation which was a Semi Permanent Hair Colour.

Regardless, to be on the safe side, you'll have to get a Shampoo that removes any Chemical and Mineral build up in the hair. If you have used Henna in your hair, even 6 months ago will react.

A little extra Boost to the Shampoo is to add a tablespoon of Citric Acid Crystals, which you can buy at the Drug Store, to 90 ml. of Shampoo. Lather your Hair up, leave for 5 min. then rinse and repeat.

Then your Hairdresser should have a Colour Remover to Lighten the Dark Colour, then Tone the Hair to the Light Brown.

That should work. Good Luck!
