Hair color taking too dark

I am taking high blood pressure medication and all hair's color tint that I choose get a dark appearance. Could you give me any technique to deal with my situation in order to get a lighter color?

many medications can actually deposit in the hair. before you color, you should shampoo with a professional chelating shampoo. this will remove the deposits from your hair and the color should turn out! hope this helps!
