Hair colour mixing instructions

Hi i have a dermalogics high gloss definition colour hair dye with a sachet of plant oils do i mix this with the colour cream and the oxidant. please help driving me mad doesn't say anywhere.

Hi Mandie,

I don't have firsthand experience with Dermalogics color, so I can only speculate on what the plant oils are for. That said, they are likely intended to be added to the color formula before application.

The plant oils probably don't affect the actual "color chemistry" going on, meaning that your color would probably do it's job without them. More likely they're included as a "conditioning" sort of feature to leave the hair in better condition after coloring.

I'd suggest you contact the manufacturer to be sure though. There should be a phone number or website address on the packaging somewhere. Short of that, try a Google search and see if they have a contact form on their website.
