hi i was kind of wondering whether to dye my hair. I've been told its boring and need to liven it up. My question is whether i should dye and if yes, which colour should i choose?

you might try highlights first...so many dark haired women want to completely color their hair to lighten it and they don't realize the huge amount of upkeep and expense involved.
