Hair Disaster!!!

I recently wanted to put highlights in my dark brown hair at home. When I put them in they turned orange and blond and looked horrible. My hair was all splotchy in spots as well where it didn't take. So I went an got some Loreal color zap and used it on my hair and all my hair turned bright orange. I wanted to dye it back to my natural color of dark brown and after dyeing it my hair is reddish. I was thinking of going to a salon and get my hair professionally dyed back to my original color, but I don't know if it will be too much for my hair all in one month. Also why does my hair always want to turn orange any time I dye it any other color then black?

Go to a professional and never again think about coloring your own hair!!

use a semi permanent dark ash brown on your hair to even out the orange. then, when your hair is a natural color, GO TO A PROFESSIONAL for the hilites.
