Radical/Cutting Edge Hair Loss Treatments
As science advances, so do the methods of solving hair loss problems.
Below are the newest developments you may be interested in:
Hairmax Laser Comb - Using low level light therapy (LLLT). The Laser Comb is Patent pending in 104 countries and developers are going to the expense of seeking FDA approval.
This nifty gadget miniaturizes laser hair care technology, which has evolved over the past few decades. There are no known side effects to using LLLT and the treatment is pain free. The price, however, can cause a bit of a jolt. Worth it to some though, I'm sure.
Cloning - Hair cloning has been in development since 1992 and still has not been perfected. Much research and testing is currently being done, but so far, scientists haven't been able to produce long-lasting hairs. They can cultivate the hairs and transplant them, but they fall out shortly afterward. Keep an eye on the hair cloning scene as it's inevitable that there will eventually be success with this method. This way, there are an unlimited number of hairs available for implanting, unlike with traditional transplantation, where the hairs are harvested from your own supply.
Transplantation - I'm sure you're familiar with the process. Hairs are dissected from the thickest area of your own scalp (usually the back), and transplanted into the thinning areas.
