HELP!!! Hair disaster....

I normally have light brown hair, I tried to put A base color (brown) with blond highlights(all in one kit) and my head now is A light red. Could you please tell me what to use to get back to brown without the red and still possibly put in the highlights. If I cant do highlights right now please just get me back to my normal color or at least close...HELP!!!!

Dear disaster,,,The two colors in one kit adds RE VERY MISLEADING in my opionion..I believe there have been a lot of diasters with these products.In order for you to get most of the red out of your brn hair,you probably need a light ash brn . Some people are unnessisarily afraid of ash colors,,because some people use them too often. But it is the best and only way to cut the red out of the hair..Once the brown is back the way you want it,,condition for a few weeks with a deep condtioner and if you hair doesnt feel too dry,or otherwise damaged,,use a highlighting cap,pull the hair thru you want to lighten and use a cream bleach mixed as directed and lighten and tone to the color you desire..It is a process NOT a one step deal Thats pretty much how it is..Good Luck.....Hope this helps..Or you could go to a professional...
