Help! Salon haircolor disaster!

by Hervieux

I wanted to add dark golden blond low lights to my dirty blonde hair so my hair dresser folded my highlights with a conditioner only and brushed in color on the rest of my hair to the scalp with something and ended up with a ugly reddish brown brassy, the hair dresser then foiled in highlights which turned it orange yellow strip brassy, then shampooed in a matte brown toner that grabbed ashy blue on the highlights and left my roots orange, then used a soapcap that then gave it a green tint. How can I even out the colors without bleaching...should I go lighter or darker? I want to be sure what ever I do the green and orange tones wont start coming back through as it fades. Will a beige blonde ultra lift work to neutralize this mess ....going to the salon tomorrow but cant decide what to have done....Please Help!

Hi Hervieux,

Using an ultra lift blonde is not a good idea. Your hair has been through a lot of processes and the best option, to prevent further damage and even out the color is a darker semi-permanent color over everything.

If you're having it done professionally, and you find a colorist with experience in correctional color, they could weave highlights and lowlights throughout and probably get you close to what you were originally wanting.

Hope this helps,
