highlight color for short hair

its short.but ots growing back

i have very short hair. it was frosted came back very dark ,have a lot of red in my face coloring so what color can i change 2.and not bring out more red in my face. i would like to go back lighter .but im 52 and dont want a drastic change ..frosting just dosent look right this short.i look like ihave a tiger on my head ,need some help

red color in you facial tone would mean you need to stay away from golds and reds. Ash blonde is better suited for your complexion. try highlights...you can have them put in as little or as many as you want and you can go medium ash to light, if that suits your fancy. highlights on short hair help to give it depth and makes it look like it has more texture.
