Highlight roots

I have 2 inch roots from my highlights and lowlights. Will the hairdresser just take them straight through again from root to ends even with the difference in colour?

Retouch high light

Your hair stylist can't get the exact same partings/strips of hair that she did last time. She will have to redo the entire thing, however if you don't like getting high lights every 6 weeks ask your stylist to zig zig the lightener line (or demarcation line) this will show less of a defined line while regrowing. Just remember that your hair will continue to get lighter and lighter if you are not doing low light along with your high light. Hope this helped!

A lot of Clients expect you to just do the roots, but you cany pick up the same pieces of hair from the time before and also if a client requires a different colour to say the bleach they may have had on before then it will need matching from root - tip, esp if its darker colour. Just doing the roots wont match to the length and ends and so will look odd when done. I always just take it through unless its bleach which I will avoid where possible.
