Home haircolor trouble

i have died my hair multiple times a dark brown/black, i have decided to try to go blonde but failed. I first used a home dye kit and just my roots went redish blondish i re tryed to do it 3 times after in the period of 1 week it just keept getting redder and redder i used a red kit as the lady at the store said i needed to change the pigments or somthing? after 2 more trys with red i just decided to try the blonde, it turned my hair into a very very vibrant red with very blonde roots. the same day i used 2 toners and this did not work!
PLEASE HELP ME!!!

The best idea is to get your hair stripped of the hair dye in the hair dressers, or the hair dresser could die it a different colour, so it looked ok again, otherwise get the red colour and just do the roots in that colour :)
