how do you get red out of your hair color?

No matter the color we use my hair always turn red even after a toner please help

we have no idea what color you are looking for or starting from.However ,IF your hair is lightened from a darker shade perhaps it wasnt brought down to a light enough shade for your toner or shade of blonde.Either way,whether brn or blonde you might at this point try an ash color..a shde of ash blonde or a shade of ash brn..Good luck to you

 how i keep the red out

don't use a color that has ash in it.if your going to salleys to get your color stay away from ash tones.plus get the purple tubes maybe 2 of them if you need too.that keeps the red out.30 or 40 volume with the hair color.maybe leave on for 35 mins if you like the color then rinse it out.i usally leave on for 45 min.i put a tight fitting shower cap on then a scarf.
