hello wonder if you could help ive dyed my hair for years an it is finally starting to show.i made a terrible mistake yesterday i put a live blonde bleach on my hair and now im left with sore scalp an bright whitey yellow hair with few orangey colouered strips .i wanted to know if there is any way of making it look not so bright without having to redye it as it is close to breaking thank you

Help for over-lightened hair

First, do not use anything on your hair that needs a developer!Your hair sounds like it's already been lightened past what it should've been. Let your scalp rest a few days and then go t a reputable beauty supply store that sells to the public and get yourself a level 9 blonde SEMI-Permanent color that has a violet base. The violet will cancel out the yellow and subdue the orangey strips. Be sure that you get a true semi; one that does not need to be mixed with anything else! It will only deposit pigment into your hair and make it feel stronger.You probably only need it on for 10-15 minutes. The result will be a nicer shade of blonde without grabbing any weird off-tones. Also, you would probably do well to have the ends cut a little; they are probably pretty blown out. Use a good protein conditioner every time you shampoo, and be gentle with any heated appliances.
