I dye my hair and now its too dark

I dye my hair and its coming too dark (black)how can I get light color ( medium golden brown) without dying again? I need help, please!!!!
I put some highlight but still is too dark.

Try using lemon juice. It's great for lightening hair.

This does work but beware it strip the colour and the oils from the haie so it ends up reall dry. I did this on dark brown hair and ended up with orangey tones and a condition nightmare
