i just dyed my hair black so i died it medium brown and it didnt work i want to lighten but cant aford a hair salon or dying it again please help me ?

Color doesn't remove color

Once you color the hair black, the hair has been permanently changed & a regular color on top of that will not budge that color & make it lighter. You may want to go to a Sally Beauty supply store and get a color remover. It will reduce the pigment molecules in the hair, but may also remove some of the natural pigment as well. Follow the directions carefully & don't be afraid to use the toll-free helpline number on whatever product you buy.

i was in the same situation 5 months ago i dyed mine darkest brown nice and easy and it turned out black i didnt like it too. so itryed a red black live to give it a bit of shimmer it grew on me but now ive not dyed it since and my roots are natural brown and i have long hair so i suggest try and grow it out r have some of it cut out into layers like i have i have my hair up so its not to bad ive just learnd to put up withit.
