i have blonde streeks in my hair but i want it light brown or dark brown but dont no if it will go right. what will happen ??

The issue is that the color will turn out differently on the highlighted pieces than it will on the rest. A semi-permanent color with a warm base will be your best option to keep away unwanted greyish hues. But, it could go a little more gold than you'd like on the non-highlighted hair (depending on the state of that hair). In my experience with drugstore haircolors, they tend to go warmer than I like, so I'd be inclined to mix a warm with a neutral to get a nice, natural looking shade.
