I want my natural colour back.

My mate did my hair for me but she made my hair bright blonde with a bit of bleach, i want to go back to my natural colour which is a really light brown. what can i do apart from growing it out ??

Hi Jade,

If your friend neglected to use a toner after bleaching your hair, that may be the reason it's "bright blonde" and unappealing to you. If you want to keep the blonde, but make it a more natural color, simply apply a hair toner. Who knows... you may end up loving the blonde.

If you really can't stand the blonde and want to return to a shade similar to your natural color, you can simply deposit color using a semi-permanent light brown formula. Use an ash or neutral base, rather than gold (or warm).

 Beware of green hair

Using a brown color to cover a bleach job sometimes results in greenish hair.
It would be better to use an ash or neutral blonde toner.
