Is it alright to apply dark brown dye to bleached hair?

so i tried giving myself blonde peekboos on tuesday . i went to sally's and the lady told me i had to bleach my hair. it ended up turning my hair orange . the next night (wednesday) i tried using a box of blonde dye hoping that would work somehow . that just made my roots bright blonde!! and the bottom an orange color. i tried using a taking out the color with a kit. which didn't help at all . so im deciding on just dying all of my hair a dark brown , which is my normal color. will the brown show up? or will it turn a strange color? . thank you!

Seek a Professional

Two things are going on here....the first process removed natural pigment in your hair, and it sounds like the product was rinsed too soon, leaving far too much underlaying warmth, resulting in the orange tone you got. Then the problem was compunded by using a color product which presumably lightened the hair some more, plus added some color. If I assume you applied the second product to the entire head, you came out lighter all over but still have that orangey cast to the highlighted areas. Using a color remover afterward has created another change in your hair color and the overall health of your hair. It's time to seek a professional for a corrective color. After 3 attempts to do this at home, you don't want to risk ruining your hair! An experienced person will treat each section differently depending on what she see & feels. It will be well worth your money & time! Good luck.
