I am a hair and makeup artist with a passion for vintage styling. When I first met this client, I decided that I wanted to re-create some of the exotic and glamorous updos of the 1940s.

I started by mimicking the widely-popular pin curl set in the back of the hair at the base of the neck. I then rolled the sides of the hair into reverse/victory rolls and finished the look by curling and shaping a tuft of curls just above the forehead.
