Losing my Natural Curl 10 months after giving birth

by Melanie Kania
(Hagerstown, MD)

I gave birth a little over ten months ago and have noticed recently that I'm losing my curl. Have you heard of this happening to anyone and do you know if it will come back?

LOOSING CURL

sometimes hair changes or falls out after you give birth. usually the hair stays the way it becomes after. the hair loss does stabilize and your hair comes back as it was before. i have seen parts of the head go curly when the rest is straight. enjoy what you have. product and scrunching your hair will make it curlier it thats what you want.thats just temporary, though.

No curl yet?

I had my second baby two years ago and my curl still has not come back. I actually got curly in middle school so I guess it all had to do with hormones from the get go. I wish it would come back. Good Luck!

I had the opposite happen to me. My hair was straight (I was 26 at the time) and while I was pregnant with my second child it got a wave. I had my tubes tied the day he was born & now I have VERY wavy hair. He's 14 now so I've learned to adjust.
