Low Maintenance Hair Style?

I am pregnant with my first and due this Aug. I am currently trying to grow my hair out since I had a horrible hair cut about 2-3 years ago that resulted in losing about 15 inches of hair. Since then, I have tried different colors, cuts and styles trying to find something that works for me--without any success. My husband also is a bit anxious about my cutting my hair again--he likes it a little bit longer than where it falls now. My question is, am I going about finding a hairstyle the wrong way? Is there ANYTHING out there that is low-maintenence that is pretty as well? I hate putting a lot of product in my hair, I don't have time every morning to flat iron it or curl it, and it is too short to go all the way up in a pony tail, but just long enough to where I HAVE to blow dry it and style it everyday or else it looks weird. Any ideas?

well.. get use to barrettes, bobby pins,pony tails, etc if you want to grow it out.. work around the growth.. keep it trimmed to how you eventually want it.. with bangs, w/o bangs, layered, one length.. get the idea? get blonde hinghlights you have the complexion for it,, you can pull of blonde, it would be Very Pretty.. Good Luck
