Moldy hair?

I always pull my hair back in a ponytail while it is still wet, by the time i get home 10 hours later it is still wet. when i wash my hair it smells really funny. how do i get rid of this smell

thats exactly the issue.. you should dry your hair.. BEFORE pulling it back.. your hair needs to breathe.. just like if you leave a wet piece of cloth in a bag it will get musty.. i really suggest you blowdry your hair and leave it down.. for at least two weeks before the smell goes away.. also if oyu are using the same hair tie.. Dont because it will absorb the oils from your hair and the smell too so you dont want that smell to stay there.. so leave your hair down as much as possible.. and blowdry when you can or it will rot and start to fall out.. and continue to smell funny
