my hair is warm blonde or dirty blonde and i want it light ash brown?

plz help... 3 weeks ago i decided to go for light ash blonde.. i bleached my hair once and i ended with orange ends then i dyed my hair so it gave me a warm dark blonde tone now i want 2 change it to light ash brown.. should i bleach then dye or should i dye in 1 step.. i'm afraid instead of getting a cool tone i will get a warm tone again

I did the same thing a while ago and I wanted to do the ash brown as well as you want to. I didnt bleach it before and it turned out great. One of my friends bleached it before and it gave it the warm look like you dont want to be.
