my hair wont grow !!

hi i use to have really long hair and i got it cut now its just not growing its just on my sholders its been that length for about 2 year it willl go a little but when i get it trimbed i feel im cutting off wat i have growing it grows aboot half an inch ever other month is there anything that will help .

That's Pretty Normal

Hi...It's perfectly normal to only grow about 1/2' a month. That's an average rate of growth for most of us. If you eat healthfully, massage your scalp, use good quality brushes and products and keep up with your trims on a regular basis...you'll gradually get it back to where you'd like it. Don't sacrifice trims...just be sure you ask for a precise amount off....don't tell a stylist to "just take off the dead ends". Sometimes that's misinterpreted!

Donna is right about diet. You also need to know that circulation at the scalp is important. This equates to having a clean scalp. If your hair is dry, shampoo 2X a week instead of daily but condition every day. Exercise is important to your circulation so make sure you're getting aerobic activity too.

If your hair is growing 1/2 inch every other month as you said, which is 1/4 inch a month, then it indicates your body is being limited by something. Check the diet, exercise, sleep, and stress. If you're careful with your hair while brushing, conditioning and detangling, you shouldn't need a trim more than 2-3 times a year.

i have he sae problem

ive been going through the same issue. its been a yean and a half since i cut my hair and its still the smae length ive stopped straightening it but still no improvement.. i dont know what to doo .. i tak a shower 5 times a week and shampoo twice. i want my hair to be long :(
