need advice mainly on bangs

My hair about a month ago

Hi, I need a haircut and am trying to decide what to do. I plan on getting about an inch and a half or so off the end and staying with a blunt cut for now. The question is what to do with the bangs. I don't really like them straight across and they are still too short more or less for side bangs. They are just past my eyebrows. They aren't very thick and I really don't want thick bangs or anything to edgy and weird. I am wondering if some texturizing or thinning of them would be good. I just want to see more skin and less hair on my forehead. Finally, I am really bad at styling hair. What is a quick no hassle style for work with the haircut I have described? Thanks!

If you aren't interested in growing your bangs out, but want to have them look thinner, find a picture of the way you would like your bangs to look and take it in to the stylist. I think you will need to grow at least some of them out if you want thinner bangs. I would cut quite a bit off your hair...it appears to be pulling down any body you may naturally have. If you have problems with styling, get the shorter cut (to chin or a bit longer) and you can just blow it dry by lifting the hair and aiming at the roots to get a little lift.

It looks like you've got great hair, and you could pull of a shorter style. A razor cut would look cute on you. Easy to take care of and gives a little extra umph!! Thinning the bangs would work for you, but as anonymous stated, you might have to let them grow a bit longer before you go that route.
