Help 911!!! I had dark hair and went to the salon to go blonde and came out orange. They want me to wait to fix it but I can not go around with orange hair. Can i get a box color to fix it?

You should demand the salon reimburse you if not already then have them pay for someone else (better qualified) to fix it. That is horrible service and you should not have to have orange hair! Fixing with a at home box would allow them to say you messed it up and it will probably make your hair worse. What salon is it so no one goes there!!!

You didnt say if you had it highlites or lightened all over...If lightened all over and it is really orange..the only way to lighten it to your satisfaction will only be with a cream bleach suited to go on the scalp.Applied as directed and left on for the right amount of time on all the hair should get the orange out. Then you must put on a toner in the colr of blonde you choose..Must be patient with these prosses and not rush them..or you cannot get the orange or deep yellow out of your hair.. Also condition well before and after..If you have normally very dry hair it will make your hair dryer..so take your time and condition!!!!!! Good luck..

WORTH TO WAIT

iF YOUR HAIR IS DARK AND WANT TO BE BLOND AND TURN OUT ORANGE IT'S BECAUSE YOUR HAIR NEED TO GO THRU THE STAGE ( RED, RED ORANGE, ORANGE, YELLOW AND SO ON ) THE PROBLEM YOU HAD RIGHT NOW IS THE STYLIST DIDNT LIFTED ENOUGH OF YOUR HAIR COLOR BEFORE LETTING YOU GO, SO YOU CAN GO BACK DAY AFTER TO HAVE THEM LIFETD THE COLOR TILL ORANGE IS GONE AND HAVE THEM TONE YOU WITH ASH COLOR BLOND AND YOU WILL BE FINE. NEVER EVER USE BOX COLOR FROM THE STORE.

I agree with the stages of color one goes through with lightening. If the stylist had bleach on your scalp, it could be that she didn't want to reapply the bleach until your scalp could rest. You didn't say whether you had color on your hair or it was virgin hair, that makes a difference in the stages of colors you would go through. Give the colorist a chance to explain to you the process and make it right for you.

go 2 t/ nearest hair suply(NOT SALLY'S). Get 3 packs of 7th stage hair bleach.1 bottle of 30 valume & 1 pack or small bottle of red out.If dont have red out, ask were u can find stuff to put in your hair mix to block out red &/or brassy tones when bleaching hair. If u want u can also add tones like,(honey, wheat, pale, ash, sandy blond ...ect...I did my hair 2 days later. The directions on how 2 mix & use is on t/ back of seventh stage pck. Use a deep condition and bye silk therapy serum at cvs or walmart found in t/ hair section

Why do most people think they can do anything to their hair, as long as they slap conditioner on afterwards that it's going to be alright? You're taking about bleach and 30vol. developer, once the hair becomes spongy there's nothing to be done but to cut it off!
