You just need to recolor using an ash tone. The gold doesn't do anything to counteract the orange underlying pigment in your hair as it's lightening.

Dont use nice & easy

The exact same thing happened to me. Do not use nice and easy it ALWAYS gives rubbish results. I re-dyed mine with a Garnier dye and it covered what the nice and easy had done and looked great!

Get rid of brassy yellow hair natural remedies

Tip #1 mix two parts of any kind of conditioner to one part of grape juice & leave it in my hair for about twenty minutes.

Tip #2- lemon juice and water, just squeeze the juice of a lemon and put it into a spray bottle topped with water, lemon juice has natural bleaching qualities, so it will take out the brassy tones in hair, also great for a chemical free lightening procedure, just pop it in wet hair and let the sun dry it.

Tip #3 - use Dish Soap or Tide ( the kind you wash your dishes with) just a nickel size.

Schwartzkopf Perfect Mousse Not so Perfect!

I am a dark blonde and wanted to go light blonde so 2 shades lighter as per the box. I purchased the "10 Pearl Blonde" so the roots came out an auburn light brown "orange". I had light blonde highlights all over so they went lighter blonde. I did not look aweful but it was not what I wanted which was to blend the roots. I tried your lemon remedy and it at least got the orange out so now I am a light brown on roots and blonde on top. Thanks so much you have saved my hair from more damage as I would have put an ash blonde on top to try to remedy. I am not too fussed that not quite blonde as I have various colours from dark blonde, light blonde, to very light blonde. It looks more sun-kissed which I can live with till my annual highlighting appointment. I am trying to save money to not have to go to hairdresser 4 times a year but 1 time and the rest home dye job on roots. Thanks again for this tip.
