platinum blonde foils in black hair

My hairdresser put 2 blonde foils in my black hair I have had it done before no problem she used 40 volume and put me under a heat source she never washed my hair after????I had to go back again same process she never washed my hair and now my beautiful blonde foils are all broken and fried she has 20 years experience what did she do wrong?????

 Unwashed chemicals from hair

You need to seriously consider changing your stylist. Having been in the hair industry for over 30 yrs. I'm never heard of not shampooing ANY chemical from the hair. To begin with a good stylists isn't going to put platinum streaks in black hair unless your going for an 'Adams Family' look.
Using 40 vol. peroxide for 2 days in a row is
extremely risky. Allowing it to stay on the hair for an unlimited time is even more risky even with only one application.

 IT ACTUALLY LOOKS GOOD

I AGREE WITH THE CHEMICAL PROCESS, I DON'T KNOW WHAT SHE WAS THINKING????!!!!! IT LOOKED ACTUALLY GOOD AND IT IS LIKE A HEAD BAND AFTER I STYLE MY HAIR.HOW LONG SHOULD THE CHEMICAL HAVE STAYED IN? I REMEMBER IT BEING ABOUT AN HOUR WITH A SMALL AMOUNT OF HEAT THE SECOND SESSION SHE LEFT IT IN WHILE DOING MY PEDI AND THAN PUT ME UNDER THE HEAT ALL FOR ABOUT 2 HOURS WITH THE CHEM ON.CAN IT BE DONE AGAIN AND WHAT IS THE EXACT PROCESS SO I KNOW WHAT TO LOOK FOR???

I'm not a hairdresser but even I know you can't leave chemicals unwashed in hair. Bleaching drys your hair out just leaving it in for an hour let alone not washing it out at all. It shouldn't be left in for more than an hour and after that it needs to be conditioned to give the hair back some of the nutrients it had lost during the chemical process. Did u go back and ask for a free treatment and hairstyle to rectify the problem, I know would have.
