As the owner of a busy home hair salon, I often serve women who have no idea how to style the haircut I've just given them. They are short on time, confused about using curling irons, rollers, etc.
My favorite tip is to show them how to style hair with Proforma! Fine haired ladies love their trendy layered do's...I spray them lightly at the roots, lifting the hair, and then just "scrunch" the layers.
Spray the teeth of a comb and add wispy detailing around the face. Stacked bobs become works of art when the hair is sprayed while upside down. Asian clients love how a curling iron set lasts when each section is sprayed first. Invaluable for updos!
It's the biggest seller in my salon, and women who previously lacked style are able to quickly & easily now sport creative do's! I call it "magic in a can", and my clients say it's like having a hairdresser right there at home with them, because they can get their hair to look however they want!
I teach them how to build volume into already blow-dried hair, simply by lifting the layers and spraying into the hair. It has just enough "tack" to let you mold and sculpt & put the hair right where you want it. Then...one final spritz to finish, and that style lasts & lasts!
I find it best to use light short bursts when working the hair, holding the can a good 8" away. (Closer will deposit too much) When finishing, especially for updo's, it's okay to give a longer spray and hold a little closer. Bridal/prom styles last through humidity, dancing, etc.
The price is reasonable for a product that does so much! My clients would pay any price I asked for this one product! Their hubbies even use it on damp, just-from-the shower hair to create spikes. It works better than gel & doesn't flake. It's water-soluble and shampoos out easily.
It's wonderful for girls who're growing out bangs...spray once...place the hair where you want it, then spray again. They'll stay put! As long as you don't overload the hair, it will not get "helmety" & hard.
If you've never tried this spray...beg, borrow, or steal (just kidding) a can soon and get styling!
