recoloring next day

I had my hair colored at a salon and not only do i still have grey at the roots but the color on the crown is a weird orange hue...the rest is my normal dark brown. Can I touch up the roots with a store bought hair color the next day?

DEFINITLY!! Go back to the Salon!!!!!Talk to the MANAGER you paid for Orange Hair for Petes Sake! are you in a play?15ys old? NO?.. Then go back and get it done for FREE girl! You have a right here!! they so done you wrong by letting you walk out the door with not what you ask for..

Getting what you pay for

Call the salon and ask for the mgr/owner, explain what happened. Tell him/her that you expect this to be corrected and at no charge to you. I would insist on a different stylist as the one who worked on you should have never let you out of the chair looking the way you described.
I am the person who is most critical of my work and I insist that the situation be corrected ASAP.Meaning I work it into my schedule right then and there if the client has the time or that the client comes in as soon as their schedule permits. The more people who see the mess the more my reputation is damaged.
A client can understand that "things" happen but will respect and return to you if the stylist brings it up first and lets you know.....this has my name on it and I am going to make this right. I also would not charge you. Tip is optional since the client's time is valuable.
I would have little faith in a stylist that would let you leave the salon in the condition you described so I would not use their services again but would make it clear that this will be corrected and PDQ!! Every new grad knows how to correct a root problem. Sorry you had a bad experience dear.
